About: Leading trade association seeks a Vice President, Sustainability—a visionary and transformational leader who will drive one of its core strategic pillars. Details: The ideal candidate brings at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in sustainability strategy, environmental innovation, or related fields, ideally within a trade association, corporate, or consulting environment. A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, public policy, or a related field is required, with a master’s degree preferred. Candidates should possess leadership skills, a strong executive presence, and exceptional communication and relationship-building capabilities. Experience managing high-performing teams and successfully engaging with regulatory agencies, policymakers, and external partners is critical.

Candidates must also demonstrate expertise in key sustainability frameworks and concepts, such as life cycle analysis, circular economy practices, GHG reduction strategies, and climate action initiatives, and be comfortable operating in a dynamic, innovative, and impactful environment.
